Bouncer
turn music promoter, Wale Babalola is the president / CEO of Fathia Promotion and
Entertainment, a music promotional outfit based in the Washington DC, United
States.
Wale
who dumped his bouncer / body guard job six years ago to float his promotional
outfit had worked for some clubs and some society bigwigs in the US.
His new
outfit organizes concerts, promotes musicians and provide entertainment
consultancy.
The
Nigerians artistes he had promoted include 9ice, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Olamide,
K1, Sule Alao Malaika among Others.
On how
he discovers artiste he is promoting the CEO of Fathia Entertainment, Wale
Babalola stated that, “I always travel to Africa especially Nigeria to scout
for good artiste and I arrange their trip to the US for performances”.
He
stated further, “Sometimes I collaborate or arrange with other promoter either
in the US or in Nigeria”
His PRO,
Wale Adeoba stated that Wale bouncer is planning a big show in Nigerian
December this year. He said: “We have started plans to throw a big show in
Nigeria come December. Right now, we are reaching out to potential sponsors who
might be interested in supporting us”.
