Where's Nollywood? Buhari Poses With Kannywood Actors,Pledges To Support Them

It is no news how President Jonathan supported Nollywood tirelessly. It may be too soon to say but it looks like it's time for Kannywood to enjoy some portion of Presidential support as the northern actors paid a solidarity visit to the imminent President Gen. Buhari. The soon to be president also promised to stop piracy in Kannywood.

According to reports, Gen. Buhari made this known during a courtesy visit by the Arewa Film Makers Association in his home at Daura, Katsina. Gen. Buhari also thanked Kannywood for its contribution to his presidential campaign.
“I appreciate all that you have done; the beautiful campaign songs, the video jingles and the drama awareness on our party’s manifestos,They were all beautiful and I thank you.”

  1. Are thsee people niaja actors? if I was paid to watch a movie by these people I still won't watch it. In this day and age why do they look so archaic. Are they trying to segregate the nigerian movie industry I don't understand the kannywood part.
