Group Call on Newly Elected Governors to Fulfil Campaign Promises

A non- governmental organisation, the “Forum of Governors Network” has congratulated all the governors elect across the country and called on them to live up to their campaign promises and ensure that the yearnings and aspirations of the people are met.

In a statement released in Abuja and signed by the founder of the group, Earl Osaro Onaiwu, the group urged the incoming governors to join in fostering a united Nigeria by guaranteeing the safety of lives and property of all Nigerians resident in their states regardless of ethnicity, religion and political affiliation as they were elected to govern all.

Earl Osaro Onaiwu expressed confidence that the newly elected governors will surpass the achievements of their predecessors as the voters have shown increased sophistication and awareness in the electoral process and the nation’s nascent democracy.

The statement while thanking Nigerians for the belief shown in the democratic process by their participation also called on them to cooperate with the newly elected governors in making Nigeria a better place for all.
